When I worked at the movie theater I would try and watch this scene as many times as I could.  Lump in the throat every single time.  It’s been a huge influence on my editing and I was obsessed with trying to find the song… It turned out it was a (then unreleased) Sigur Ros song… Cameron Crowe loved the song so much that he had to use a live recording.
